EAT

Personal preferences:

Berryville: Sweet Basil Thai is a down to earth Thai restaurant for eat-in or take away. Mario’s Pizza makes the best Italian (pizza or the eggplant parm). San Torini Grill is a simplistic eat-in but delicious Greek and also offers take-away. Don’t forget to stop at the iconic Nall’s Farm Market for local produce and sweet treats.

Upperville & Middleburg: The Hunter’s Head, on the way to historic Middleburg, is a British iconic classic pub. Perfect for summer nights or snuggling up in front of the wood fires. Explore Middleburg’s King Street Oyster Bar and an eclectic mix of restaurants from classic British fare to sushi and Thai venues. For fancy, take a look at The Ashby Inn located in the small village of Paris, at the base of Blueridge Mountain Road. Finally, Salamander Resort in Middleburg offers classic yet cost conscious options, a perfect venue for elegance at a reasonable price boasting big fireplaces and snooker tables; cozy up with a book while sipping tea or a cocktail and sushi.

Purcellville: Magnolias at the Mill for fine dining, Finn Thai or Patama Thai for ethnic, or Monk’s BBQ for a taste of Virginia Country.  Don’t forget to visit the Bluemont General Store for ice cream or a quick bite at Hill High for a homemade delicious pie and other treats like chocolate covered coconut macaroons and gourmet brownies.
